Here is the offical changelog for Nokia 5230 firmware 50.0.001/50.0.002/50.4.001 (i had posted a unoffical one with screenshots)
"This software release brings you a new, faster version of the web browser, with easier access to common browsing features.Also, you can now search the web directly from the web address field.You can have several websites open in different windows, and easily switch between them. Non-Latin characters are now supported in web addresses. In addition, if the screen and keys are locked, a new Big clock feature displays the time and date when you press the menu key. When the big clock is displayed, you can swipe the screen to unlock it. You can now insert emoticons in text and multimedia messages.Ovi Contacts has been removed. There are also general performance improvements. To get this software through your device, select Applications > Software Update, and choose the software you want to update. Alternatively, this software release is available through the Nokia Ovi Suite"
