Swype 2.0 now available for Symbian


Swype for Symbian has been updated to version 2.0 bringing it on par with the version available for Android and can be downloaded from Nokia betalabs.For those who don't know Swype provides an easy way of entering text on touchscreen devices and as an added benefit a potrait qwerty keypad(not truly split screen though).
The new features include
  • Portrait and split-screen support for devices with Symbian Anna
  • Cutting-edge predictive tap auto-correction engine
  • 30 downloadable language dictionaries
  • Many incremental UX changes based on Nokia and Android Beta Labs feedback
  • Hundreds of bug fixes. Too many to list!
