Upcode available for symbian and iphone allows you to read codes in a wide variety of formats like QR code,datamatrix and also can create personal codes for sharing video,data etc.
QR codes and other similar technologies are increasingly used to easily acess information on a product or share data like a url etc.The user has just to point the camera where the code appears like a product ad,website and you will be redirected to their site,a video about the product.
