Nimbuzz 3.01 update reduces data usage by 70 percent

Nimbuzz the popular multiplatform im client has released an updated version making it faster by reducing the data usage.This is done by introducing zlib compression in encoding data.

Also with improved connection speed the update also brings a couple of updates

• Invisible mode – so you can appear invisible to your Nimbuzz contacts.
• Allow chats only from friends – so you won’t be bothered by people that are not on your list.
• Updated status icons – for Online, Away, Busy and Offline modes.
